#Summer Baseball - development or just playing? Make sure that you choose a place to play that both fits your (and your family's) pocketbook and your expectations. Do you need lots of coaching off the field? Do you need to get more game experience (ie playing time)? Do you want to fit baseball into your vacation plans or fit your vacation (summer) into you baseball schedule? Do you have off summer commitments to other activities (school, sports, etc.)?
How many at-bats do you expect to have? (7 weeks x 5 games x 3plate app. = 105 plate appearances);
How many innings do you expect to throw? (only once (75-100 pitches) a week or every 5-6 days?)
Will you play defense or just be a "extra bat" or DH?
