A reminder - college can be expensive and a challenge if you are trying to play a sport.  Local (what's local?) junior / community college athletic programs can be more affordable, a chance to get standard classes out of the way and a chance to see if you are ready to compete in college academics & athletics.  If you stay local make sure the academics you take are appropriate to 4-year transfer (if that's what you want!).
