12/26/25 SEC / SouthEastern Conference 2026 Baseball Preview - unofficial

12/26/25 SEC / SouthEastern Conference 2026 Baseball Preview - unofficial - last update: 12/26/25

(next will be the Tri-County Conference - I probably won't go as deep since the SEC is my "local" league; 2025 results will depend on what I can find - many Michigan leagues do not have websites that I am aware of)

Below -

1- MHSAA 2026 Baseball Calendar & enrollment classifications

2 - 2025 SEC Standings / MPR rankings

3 - SEC Red

4 - SEC White

5 - 2025 MHSBCA awards

6 - websites of interest

7 - state champions & runner-up

8 - some of the SEC players rostered after high school (and some pros)

*MPR note: MPR is a ranking system that COULD be used for seeding playoff teams. The biggest issue I see is that not all results are reported to the MHSAA. Whether this is done thru lack of staff or to “stay under the radar” or just “why bother” I do not know. However, if coaches want seeding, then it is necessary to have accurate information. So coaches - you choose!
